Who is briart?
Hi, my name is Brian Pearson and I set up briart to showcase my original and limited edition print artworks.
I am based in Leek in the Staffordshire Moorlands and I am a self taught artist specialising in using watercolours and coloured pencils.
I spent many years working in industry and the education sector and I am now devoting my time to producing quality original art and prints for sale. Most of my work is derived from my own photographic archive of nature and local architecture.
I work with professional quality artists materials from Newton and Winsor, Faber-Castell and Derwent pencils. All works are produced on archival quality paper and prints are produced using Canon professional products and archival papers to ensure that all artworks are produced to withstand the tests of time.
I am also available to produce commission work of animals and pets, some of which you can see in the online gallery.
All commission work is produced as a one off original artwork and I am happy to discuss the process and prices with clients. Clients are kept informed at all stages of the commission to ensure complete satisfaction with the finished product.
